Let's GET SANITIZED:
THINGS WE NEED TO MAKE 100% EFFECTIVE SANITIZER AT HOME ARE:
- 1 piece aloe vera gel or we can also use glycerin
- 2 piece isopropyl spirits or alcohol (scrubbing alcohol) with a concentration of 91%.
- Fundamental oil, such as lemon or lavender (this is an optional component for fragrance)
- Unused containers for blending and an air-tight container for storage
- And Obviously, A Spoon or whisk for stirring.
STEPS TO MAKE 100% EFFECTIVE SANITIZER AT HOME:
- Mix the aloe vera gel or glycerin with the isopropyl alcohol in a sanitary container. To get one cup of sanitizer, mix ⅓ cup of gel or glycerin with ⅔ cup of scrubbing alcohol.
- Mix completely with your spoon or whisk to assure that the alcohol is evenly spread throughout the gel.
- Mix in five drops of necessary oil, if you're using it. This is completely optional and is only meant to enhance the fragrance of the sanitizer.
- Save the sanitizer in an air-tight container. Alcohol evaporates with time, so an air-tight container will keep your sanitizer effective for a longer time. A pump or squeeze bottle can minimize evaporation while keeping your sanitizer easily obtainable — just make sure the container for your sanitizer is neat and air-tight.
